south valley services is a nonprofit agency located in west jordan, utah offering a variety of services for victims and survivors of domestic violence. our services are delivered in three locations: a confidential shelter and two community resource centers located in west jordan city hall and newly opened in riverton. svs includes a domestic violence shelter that serves men, women, and children who are victims of domestic abuse and sex trafficking with a 24-hour hot line and advocacy services, emergency shelter and supportive services (case management, counseling, psycho-educational groups, therapy and the children’s learning center.the shelter has 12 rooms and 57 beds. residents must be a victim of domestic violence as defined by the state of utah and in immediate danger in order to qualify for our services. the shelter offers short-term crisis shelter, however residents stay with us as long as needed while continuing to work on their goals and actions plans, that will lead to self su
