South Waterfont Community Garden

south waterfront community garden founded in 2009, our garden in the south waterfront district has grown rapidly from bare gravel to 30 beds, to the over 70 beds we have now. the spring of 2011 will find us with nearly a hundred beds. will your garden grow with us? south waterfront community garden offers 4 foot by 10 foot raised beds available for $125 per season, plus a $25 initiation fee for new memberships. discounts in membership fees are available to those who contribute large numbers of volunteer hours to the garden. we will also attempt to accommodate any who require financial assistance; it is not our goal to turn gardeners away! all members have access to shared tools, a large pool of shared seeds, help with maintenance, and access to our large pool of gardening knowledge. residents of the south waterfront community are invited to join our garden. this includes local businesses! come participate in growing the neighborhood. we are a community of gardeners: membership entails
