south west youth ministries is a youth ministry that places trainee youth and schools workers with ministry partners (churches and schools-work projects) throughout the south west of england. in practice, swym seeks to promote local churches in the south west and bring them together in an informal association that works together to be as strategic and effective as possible in christian schools-work and youth ministry. for the people who serve within swym it is more like a group of friends who share a passion for jesus christ, a desire to learn, and a hunger to seek and save the lost. the vision of swym is that every young person across the south west has the opportunity to see christ lived out before his or her eyes. this necessitates a holistic approach to christian youth ministry incorporating schools, community, and church. swym does nothing unique. it merely seeks to incorporate what is good in youth ministry into a strategic package so that as many young people as possible can com
