south asian today is an autonomous, multimedia, online magazine for and by south asian womxn and non-binary people. being founded in australia, we pay our respects to the traditional owners of the land - past, present and emerging. we recognise their ongoing connection to land, waters and culture. sovereignty was never ceded. we platform, empower and strengthen south asian community through mixed media ways of storytelling. born out of lack of representation for our narratives, south asian today aims to be a space where artists can collaborate, write, film, produce podcasts and share their work and commentary. we are feminist and believe in shattering patriarchal norms that have long dominated and stunted our growth. we do not shy away from talking about politics. as an inclusive space, our goal is to solidify diversity within our own communities and pass on the mic to those who have not been given enough chances to tell their stories. we are aware of a lot of spaces online wher
