southeast ohio fiberworks provides specialty wool and fiber products that come from various breeds of livestock located in the southeast ohio region. these products have different qualities, and, because they come from a renewable resource on small farms, they are sustainably produced in the us. with the sustainable textile development framework that guides the southeast ohio fibershed, an affiliate of the california-based nonprofit education and research organization fibershed, the southeast ohio fibershed identifies farms where sheep and other fiber animals are raised in an effort to quantify our regional wool supply and build a textile focused network of farmers to markets.
