southeastern plateworks is an alabama based company specializing in fabricated steel components for industries such as mining/material handling, pulp & paper, power generation, air pollution control, oem equipment, and others. southeastern plateworks has experience in the fabrication of plate and structural steel products using diverse steel grades including carbon steels (a36, a572, a992), stainless steels (304l, 316l), and more exotic temperature and corrosion resistant alloys (al6xn, c276, 2205). steel fabricated platework, structural steel, process equipment, and other products are fabricated on site at one of our two birmingham-based fabricating facilities. between our two shops, we have a total of 200,000 sf of interior production space and over 25 acres of outside staging and storage area. with our 150 skilled fabricators, experienced management group, and crane capacities of up to 50 ton single lifts, we have the ability to support a wide range of large and complex projects. th
