the sera is the largest amateur radio repeater coordinating organization in the united states. it comprises 8 states in the southeastern united states. the sera is incorporated as a "not for profit corporation" pursuant to chapter 55a of the general statutes of the state of north carolina and is exempt from federal income tax under section 501(c)(3) of the internal revenue code of 1986 as amended. the success of sera over the past 25 years can be attributed to its people, people who chose to volunteer their time and work countless hours for the organization with no pay for their services, and the repeater owners and users, who faithfully support the organization financially through voluntary membership are the heart and soul of the organization. the goal for the future is to continue to provide the best communications, cooperation, coordination, and education possible to the amateur repeater owners and users in the southeast. the sera is unlike any other coordination organization in th
