southern drones provides aerial imagery using agriculture drones, to farmers with up to date health/stress maps of the crops in the ground. farmers can then use precision farming techniques to target this areas under stress instead of a blanket approach to the whole crop. this saves time and money for the farmer. yields will increase input costs will decrease. when an agriculture drone flys over the field a camera on-board takes a photo in near infrared (nir) that can then be converted to an nvdi map. the near infrared will pick up the health of the crop leaf. stressed plants reflect nir differently to health plants. this can then be displayed on a nvdi map to show areas that need to be targeted and ground-proofed. these images can be used to produce precision agriculture variable rate maps. southern drones can provide automated drone surveillance stations. the drone will take-off, fly, land and charge automatically. define the mission, determine the camera payload, activate the missio
