southern minnesota (somn) apics chapter serves a large portion of southern minnesota, including rochester, owatonna, faribault, northfield, albert lea, austin, mankato and new ulm. we are committed to serving our membership by providing high value education, enhancing communications among resource management professionals and advancing the business's ability to succeed in a changing competitive marketplace. we provide apics certification educational programs to support cpim certification (certified in production and inventory management) we have professional development meetings (pdm) or plant tours usually on the second monday of each month, september through may that includes dinner and a quality and highly qualified speaker on a subject relative to supply chain management, operations management, or professional development.
