fine heirloom sewing & custom-made embroideries from classic children’s tales to classic children's apparel i have a love for the classics! i love beautifully detailed children's apparel made with love and with the distinctive hand touches of smocking, embroidery and sweet pleats. i also enjoy the whimsical look of the latest trends for babies and children. for me, fashion is art, and the artist in me loves to create & design sewing patterns and unique machine embroideries. my first love is for hand smocking & heirloom sewing, and i enjoy teaching sewing and embroidery techniques. you can find all my sewing & technique tutorials here at southern stitches. i also am owner/designer of brer rabbit designs, a website devoted exclusively for children’s wear patterns and designs. you can also find my work published in the pages of sew beautiful magazine, where i am a commissioned designer.
