Southern Sydney Business Education Network

the story of southern sydney business education network starts in 2003 when the organisation was incorporated as the sutherland ben (business education network) incorporated, having been born out of the shire compact which started in 1996. initially, the sutherland ben provided only structured workplace learning services to students and schools in the sutherland shire. in 2006 services were expanded to include the structured workplace learning, career & transition support (cats), and the adopt a school program. in 2010, the federal government changed its focus from cats service provision to the national partnership broker (pb) program. the program was successfully been offered for 5 years building effective partnerships between the education sector and industry within the sutherland shire. in october 2013, sutherland business education network amalgamated with the st george workplace learning partnership inc to form the southern sydney business education network. in december 2014, we w
