southern produce distributors began in 1942 when harold s. precythe established the first fresh produce rail shipping market in eastern north carolina. his goal was to provide cities in the northeast, midwest and mid-atlantic areas with farm-fresh produce from north carolina’s rich farming district. with a long, family tradition of farming and an eye for new opportunities, mr. precythe wanted to give local farmers a better way to market and deliver their harvests to areas with less access to quality fresh produce. a stickler for quality produce, mr. precythe was known to say, “if we wouldn’t serve it to our families, we won’t sell it to our customers.” today, southern produce is one of the leading providers of high quality, nutritious sweet potatoes and peppers to markets across the us, canada, uk and europe.

You’ll be in good company
Calling Distro an all-in-one tool is an oversimplification of the value it delivers. All the workflows we need to acquire and support our SMB users across all channels are deeply integrated. I couldn’t be happier with our choice.

Jody Schnarr

CEO of Fibernetics

The #1 reason why we chose Distro is because it provides all the building blocks we need to engage our customers in a unified way — From email, texting, telephony and collaboration. This is probably the last tool you’ll buy for lead and customer outreach.

Laurel Palmer

Director, College Fund, Kalamazoo College

Stitching together a bunch of integrations and add-ons across multiple vendors is not my idea of productivity or efficiency. Thats why we chose Distro — each module is as full featured as any standalone competition.
