the purposes of the scco are: 1) to bring young cyclists to their maximum potential with the goal of representing canada at the olympic games, the commonwealth games, the pan-am games and other major cycling events. 2) to create, maintain and promote a centre for cycling development and excellence for cyclists that fosters individual improvement. 3) to provide opportunity, financial help, coaching, adult guidance and assistance for the less privileged and all who choose to race bicycles. 4) to encourage more people to ride bicycles more often. 5) to promote the sport of bicycle racing specifically in the city of windsor, essex county and the region generally referred to as southwestern ontario.
