sovereign games is a small, independent game design company. we design unique and genre-defying games — tabletop games, board games, card games; we don’t feel the need to limit the gaming categories we develop for. we work hard to create games that are fun and different, in that order. we believe that there is an magic spot in game design, where your game is unique enough to be interesting, and familiar enough that learning it isn’t hard. our games have more depth than other available games without needing overwhelming rulebooks. there are more possible games of crowns than there are atoms in the observable universe — and the rules fit on a single page. our games are unique, familiar, competitive, and deep, without being overwhelming — and that’s not something a lot of designers can offer.
