sovexportfilm has been know on soviet market since 1924. it’s structure has changed over the years since that, but it’s faith and devotion to national cinema has become only stronger. nowadays sovexportfilm is focused on promoting russian cinema in other countries. it’s recent activity includes film festival and film weeks abroad, organizing and coordinating of russian pavilion during cannes film festival and cinema of russia booth at efm and marche du film. in the last while sovexportfilm has also proven itself as a leading international distributor of russian movies, attending all the major international film markets.
