the league was established as the port st john rockets in 1993 by a group of very dedicated parents in a small and young community. we are a non-profit, 501c3 approved, county youth recreational league, run solely by volunteers for children ages 3-15, in brevard county florida. the general objective of our league is to inspire all youth, regardless of race, creed, or national origin, to practice the ideals of sportsmanship, scholarship and physical fitness. the specific objective of the league is to familiarize all participants with the fundamentals of football or cheerleading, to provide an opportunity to play the sport in a supervised, organized and safety oriented manner and to keep the welfare of participants free of any adult ambition or personal glory. our league gives families a place to come together and be a part of something special. studies show that an active kid is a healthy kid and that having meaningful, engaging activities are important to keeping kids safe and o
