local sports commission responsible for bringing major events to the area, as well as creating new events with the goal of filling hotel rooms. partner closely with the tourism development council and other sports commissions around the state of florida. some events we are responsible for and have been awarded are to include (but not limited to): - sunshine state conference basketball championship - aau girls 2nd and 3rd grade national basketball championships - us youth games - national junior college athletic association women's national soccer championship - national chiropractic games
