Space North East

the north east of england, is a unique part of the world, steeped in centuries of history, industry, beautiful coastlines and architecture which spans the ages. such a unique place, contains wonderful people, with an identity as strong as you'll find anywhere in the world. unfortunately, there is a statistic which casts a dark cloud over our beautiful corner of england. the north east boasts the highest suicide rates in the uk. in men, it is higher still, with a whopping 21.1 suicides per 100,000. we aim to stop that. we are a non-profit group, currently based in sunderland whose aim is to reduce suicides, and the burdens of loneliness, depression and anxiety on men here in the north east. we do this, through regular talking and support groups and providing education on why we feel the way we do when we're low or anxious. please join us, if you'd like to be part of our mission. we will always be free, we will always be here.
