space shielding was born while participating in the 2019 challenges of the open space contest, in which we were one of the winners. after winning, came the technical challenge to turn the idea into a reality and send it to outer space. the goal of the company is to convert outer space into a playground for the next generations. we take inspiration from how democratizing technologies have changed the world and we want the same for space. what do we mean by this? let's take the arduino board as an example. think for a moment about the impact of this product and all the projects it made possible. all the children that have discovered their passion through it and how it improved our daily lives. we believe that cubesats can change the world the same way as arduino revolutionized access to electronics. a cubesat revolution is here and we want to be part of it. to achieve this, we started by addressing the problem of space radiation. our approach is an open standard shield for cubesats t
