Space Technologies at California (Stac)

to advance the frontier of student space exploration at uc berkeley through deep-space satellite fabrication and design, and high altitude mission testing. there are limited aerospace orientated groups on campus, but the ones that do exist only focus on small-scale competitions that do not attempt to go to space. we will be the first group at berkeley to launch a student-designed payload into space. additional goals include: collaboration with the space sciences laboratory and various researchers here at berkeley, holding a first university space hackathon, and becoming the first student-based university group to launch a rocket into space.
