spade & barrow is an innovative social business challenging the status-quo by advocating for nature's grade produce to be harvested and offered wholesale to the community sector, social food enterprises and the public sector. until now nature's grade produce (think pink ladies that are slightly the wrong shade of pink) has been left to rot in the ground or on the tree whilst the public, community organsations and public sector pay top prices for produce. spade & barrow’s vision is for farmers to be paid a fair price for this fabulous, tasty, fresh fare and for community organisations, social enterprises and the public sector to be given the opportunity to purchase this produce direct from the farms, delivered to their door at great prices.
