we are proudly a retired, service disabled veteran, black majority women-owned family business. we respect and celebrate the differences among all people because it delivers a better, more inclusive company vision to consumers worldwide.  ​our journey began in philadelphia, pa. after 20 years of service and traveling the world, we retired from the u.s. navy in 2006 to enjoy family life with our 3 adult children and two wonderful grandchildren.  through prayer, fear, and wise investing, we followed our dream of becoming business owners by starting a catering business. after building a considerable customer base, our goal was to continue producing great tasting dishes but on the healthier side.   so we"put it in a bottle" and launched spain's spices.  ​after just a couple years in, we felt confident our family recipes of spice blends not only taste great, they were healthier, different from most brands, and could compete on a global scale. today the spain's spices brand continues to
