my business is the teaching of the spanish language in charlottesville and surrounding areas. i also provide translation and interpretation services, and training for owners of businesses who have non english- speaking workers. i have been in the teaching field for more than 20 years and have taught in venezuela as well as the united states. i have worked both for public and private institutions and have taught all levels of spanish. i have led numerous foreign language immersion trips to mexico, costa rica, peru, chile and spain. additionally, i have worked as an english-spanish translator, interpreter and spanish proofreader. i have served since 2007 as an ap spanish language reader / grader for the college board, and acted as an assistant table leader as well. in my spare time i do volunteer work as a translator and as an interpreter for several non-profit organizations in charlottesville and surrounding areas. i am also an avid traveler, a sports enthusiast and an animal lover.
