the spannings name was originally established in 1950's england, specifically in the city of ipswich. the corner general store's name was a combination of the surnames of the married couple (herbert spanner and masie gooding) who owned it, and who lived above it. spannings served the local community for decades, providing quality service and goods. spannings llc was founded as a californian company in rancho cordova by their grandson. spannings llc serves as the company behind a number of brands and endeavors, operating internationally with clients and stakeholders from the philippines to scotland. the company mission is to cultivate and enable people to get their work and art out into the market and in front of the public eye.
