“harnessing the power of spare moments to benefit local communities.” sparetime is an online community which seeks to bring together the volunteers, donors, nonprofit organizations and groups who are working to make our communities a better place. our mission is to bridge the gap between having interest in doing good, and identifying how and where to get started, engaging potential volunteers and their social networks along the way. in order to do so, we seek to identify the organizations, groups, and individuals serving our community, supplement their efforts, and capture and present their work to the community at large.
