Sparktank

sparktank is an nonprofit immersive and comprehensive entrepreneurship program geared towards underrepresented groups such as women and ethnic minorities that removes systematic barriers to help students launch their own businesses. it is completely free to join! this program implemented at broad run high school in the curriculum for the cte classes, however, we are working on expanding it beyond the community as well! teachers outside of brhs can also implement the sparktank curriculum into their classes with the free resources in the workshops page! it is an action-packed, hands-on program with 3-month long cohorts filled with interactive workshops on end-to-end startup development, career fairs, industry skill-development challenges, ceo roundtables, career development field trips (e.g. nyc), guest speakers, and a shark tank investor panel complete with $1k+ in awards, scholarships, and seed money. we are partnering with and bringing in local, multi-million and multi-billion dolla
