Spark - Women Burning Walls

spark is an organization dedicated to education, advocacy and support through woman-centered community. being a woman in this society comes with a unique set of challenges and potential privilege. we live in a culture that has successfully built walls between us - walls of mistrust, competition, hate, fear, and the notion that solidarity is not an option. ​ now, more than ever, we must build together. we must to work to listen, empathize, practice self-reflexivity, and connect with our fellow women. ​ spark seeks to foster these kinds of connections through a lens of community and intersectionality. by engaging in woman-to-woman conversations across differences of race, sexuality, class, religion, social status, and ability, we aim to open hearts and minds, making the world a better place. ​ we believe in bridges, not walls. ​ we believe that a single spark can ignite a fire of change.
