providing excellence in aeronautics instruction since 1928, spartan trains pilots and aviation technicians. spartan is an accredited aeronautical school located in tulsa, oklahoma, offering diploma programs and associate of applied science and bachelor’s degrees. its aviation maintenance technology programs are approved by the federal aviation administration (faa). there are over 90,000 spartan alumni. spartan offers more than 247,000 square feet of facility space, located at two local airports, and houses 19 aircraft for aviation technician training. aeronautical training devices, such as radar equipment, ultrasonic testers and more, are available to students for a truly hands-on learning experience.
