snkc is a 501(c)(3) formed in 2002 that serves the greater kansas city community. you are an important part of our team! your support decreases the number of homeless, unwanted, and neglected pets in our community and entering our area shelters, as well as increases the quality of care for pets and strengthens the animal-human bond in the kansas city community. mission statement our mission is to decrease pet homelessness, increase pet retention, and improve the quality of life for pets through education and supportive services for families in need. vision statement we educate and assist families to improve their pet’s quality of life, increase the animal-human bond and make long term positive impacts in our community and animal welfare. philosophy statement we pride ourselves in acknowledging our diverse community with a non-judgmental and compassionate approach. our programs target families who need assistance with education, wellness and resources to help their pets live a long, hea
