we designed speakzy to be an audio first social app with the belief that our voices allows us to fully express ourselves and it has the power to create and shape our lives and everything around us. audio-first chats do away with the distraction of video and text feeds and focus exclusively on verbal conversation. it is an entirely different experience to hear someone say something or tell a story than it is to read a chunk of text and try and interpret the tone with which it’s being said. speakzy works best for active change-makers who want to stay connected while they are working, studying, commuting, or exercising. ​ text alone is not enough, and video is sometimes too much. we believe social audio strikes the perfect balance to represent the opportunity for social connection and empathy.
