Special Olympics European Games 2014

since 1981, every four years the special olympics europe-eurasia summer games are organized in a different country. in september 2014, delegations from 58 countries will gather in antwerp at the games of the heart to participate and experience 10 days of absolute celebration. the special olympics is more than just sports, during the europe-eurasia summer games the athletes will take part in a host town programme that will give them the chance to explore and experience the culture of belgium. there will be sideline events like free medical exams, symposiums, celebrations, ceremonies and of course the exciting sporting events! there will be 10 days of festivities for the athletes, families and fans. the games of the heart is a moment of joy that will mark every success and is a time to reward the achievements of athletes who participate in the special olympics movement.
