since its founding in 1952 by raymond j. nagy sr., specialty saw has grown from a small distributor of metal cutting tools into a 15,000 square foot state of the art manufacturer in scenic simsbury, connecticut. our current president, dave nagy, joined the company in 1971 and is responsible for this expansion. specialty saw offers cost effective engineered sawing solutions to its customers throughout north america who purchase new blades and resharpening maintenance services. those customers include primary metal producers, metals service centers, hydraulic hose manufacturers, and high production metal cutting customers who produce railroad rail, forgings, extrusions, castings, bar stock , billets, tire recycling, and nuclear power plant dismantling. dave’s son, jeff nagy, joined the company in 2005 and oversees production which features an oil based central coolant filtration system and the most modern saw grinders available to insure the highest quality blades up to 88" in diameter.
