spectrum design was a concept based, strategic corporate design firm specializing in corporate identity, brand identity and other print and new media disciplines. the firm listed clients in every business sector from technology to entertainment. spectrum applied a “process” to all its design assignments, guaranteeing full creative exploration and client involvement in every step. the firm did not have a “studio look.” our process drove the look and feel of the designs we produced. our clients’ communications requirements determined the “style” we applied to every image we developed. founded in 1998 by j. mark denicola, spectrum managed to increase its revenue every year until its closing in 2002. located in knoxville, tennessee, spectrum listed clients in six states from new york to florida. the firm was a subsidiary of thermocopy, east tennessee’s largest business technology company.
