Spectrum Infant & Toddler Montessories

nationwide only 5% of child care center capacity is for infants and toddlers. this forces working parents to leave their babies in alternative very varied quality care. this problem exists because the majority of child care centers are for profit and they only want to enroll the most profitable segment of the market the preschoolers. spectrum infant & toddler montessories, a 501c3 non profit was formed to address this severe shortage of slots for infants and toddlers in centers. our goal is to build 4 child care centers each catering for 160 children, at least 50% of whom will be infants and toddlers in the next 10 years. our first centers will be located in irvine which continues to be an employment magnet for orange county, employing over 12% of orange county's workforce. the second issue our centers will help address is the lack of spaces in centers for low income children. many centers do not take publically funded children and those that do are quietly limiting their numbers. also
