Spectrum Internet (Superfast Cities)

part of the government’s core plan to support small businesses in britain, in 2013 £150 million was committed to the connection voucher scheme to transform broadband access for businesses in 22 cities, by offering grants of up to £3,000 to cover the cost of installing superfast connectivity. up until march 2015, over 13,000 grants have been claimed by businesses up and down the country who have taken this opportunity to enhance their digital infrastructure affordably. from april 2015, an extra £40 million has been allocated to the superfast britain connection voucher programme to support a further 28 cities across the uk on a first come, first served basis. this extension in scope opens the vouchers up to roughly 1 million more smes in a total of 50 cities. the scheme will continue to help local businesses grow and develop in a digital world, thanks to superfast, reliable and affordable connectivity. spectrum internet is wales’ largest independent internet service provider with a vastl
