spell is an ai and deep learning infrastructure company. our mission is to make ai more accessible to everyone. we are located in new york. our first product is a command-line tool for running code and experiments on remote hardware in a seamless and easy way. large scale deep learning models often require more computation power and data - far beyond what's available in a typical laptop. spell makes it easy to run that code on a remote system (either a public cloud or ours) - in a reproducible environment on state-of-the-art hardware. we allow software engineers to run many concurrent jobs and experiments without any operations or overhead. by keeping code and experiments in an organized, reproducible format we also aim to make teams more productive. things like uploading data sets, sharing code or models or even automatically evaluating code changes for performance make spell a social and collaborative environment. we aim to build communities around code, models and data. finally, we
