we're a new non profit organization looking to make an impact and serve children and their families in the swmo area who are or have been affected by acute and chronic illness. it wasn't until my story was shared and friends of friends of friends got together to support my family. the support and impact it made on my family was life changing and i knew that i had to give back in some way. this cause is so important to me because i have encountered far too many families who don't qualify for benefits, who are left with enormous amounts of medical debts, who pay extremely high deductibles for medications that they need, but there is no service out there that overlook annual gross income and provide relief for families who are often overlooked and left scrambling. it's my hope that this foundation can do just that. ease burdens of worrying about money, supplies, equipment, and services that they need while dealing with the stress of caring for a sick child.
