in 2010, when i began my career in the fitness industry as a personal trainer in atlanta, my boss at the time told me, “if you are going to succeed in this industry, you have to create a community that unites under your own personal training philosophy.” he also told me, “you can do it, but it’s going to take everything you’ve got." fast-forward six years later… ​ i live in new york city, where i have organically grown a one-on-one personal training network of over 25 active one-on-one clients, at remorca fitness, a boutique training studio that has two locations in the heart of the upper east side of manhattan. ​ in addition to personal training, i have also extended my training brand into the digital fitness realm; serving as a lead running coach for a fitness app called aaptiv, a digital audio recording application for treadmill and outdoor runs. in 2016, aaptiv reached 1 million sign ups, making us one of the top audio fitness apps in the digital market. my workouts are used by tho
