spic macay, pantnagar chapter has been a crucial part in savouring the indian art forms and culture at an around pantnagar since 15 february, 1984. the society for the promotion of indian classical music and culture amongst youth (spic macay) is a voluntary youth movement which promotes intangible aspects of indian heritage by promoting indian classical , folk and regional music and dance forms, crafts and other aspects of indian culture. spic macay was established by dr. kiran seth in 1977 at iit delhi, and since then its acting as a youth movement with chapters in over 300 towns all over the world one of which is in pantnagar. spic macay, pantnagar chapter aims to behold experiences for the spectators with some of the greatest living exponents of traditional indian art forms. we endeavour to propagate the perpetual learning we have gained through the years of depth and beauty of the indian classical heritage to young students and professionals. to fulfil the objective spic macay
