at spice origin, we are passionate about all things spice. we source fairly-traded, organic spices direct from the farmers who grow them. we have travelled to every farm to get the story behind the spices and the farmers who are producing them. we import the majority of our spices whole, so we can deliver the best quality, aromatic & pungent, freshly ground spices direct to your door. in india, we have partnered with local organisations who support these farmers to farm organically. naturally. the way things used to be, before decades of misguided agricultural policy caused soil to degrade, widespread dependence on chemical inputs, and countless farmer suicides from ill health and indebtedness. many of our spices are certified organic. some are not. regardless, all are naturally produced with no chemical pesticides or artificial fertilisers, and they are packaged by us free of anti-caking agents and preservatives.
