Spike & Earl

housed on the freshly remodelled ground floor of the art deco southwark town hall, spike + earl is an all-day canteen-style café with a difference. we will be serving an innovative breakfast/brunch menu, signature sandwiches drawing on influences from the famous joints of san francisco, and an interesting range of small plates in the evening. all this will be washed down with fantastic coffee from a glass-fronted on-site roastery and, when the lights go down, a bespoke range of wines, cocktails and beer from local suppliers. set up by the founders of old spike roastery, spike & earl will expand the venture beyond coffee and offer an all-day food & drink establishment that has a focus on supporting the homeless community through employment. our social conscience will also be an integral part of who we work with, and an emphasis on supporting social enterprise products will be fundamental to the business.
