Spiritual Direction Learning Lab

i’m scott mcrae and i created the spiritual direction learning lab because i believe that spiritual conversations are wildly fulfilling, and are essential work for these troubling times. and, as people become more troubled, the work gets more challenging. i’ve been seeing clients and doing spiritual direction supervision and teaching for over 20 years. this learning lab is designed both to help spiritual guides access a deeper presence and voice with clients, and to develop a more vibrant spiritual direction practice. my professional journey started as a lutheran pastor in parish and campus settings, and then i moved into healthcare where i served as a spiritual care department director and chaplain educator. i have a masters of divinity from yale university, and have certifications in coaching and leadership training. the passion behind my learning has always been driven by this question: what are the ingredients that lead to transformative spiritual conversations and growth? alon
