Spitshine Flicks Inc

spitshine flicks is a vancouver-based film and animation production company founded by director/producer javier badillo in 2005. the company focuses on writing, optioning and producing original, high-concept, and genre (and non-genre) feature films and tv/web series for the international english and spanish markets. the company recently wrapped production on the teen comedy the cover-up (hd, 80min) and the drama afterparty (hd, 90min), both currently in post-production. also in 2012, spitshine flicks co-produced with green couch sessions and cbc radio3 a travel/musical tv special titled tracks on tracks (hd, 45min). among its other original properties are the award winning crime thriller scars (hd, 5min, vancouver pre-olympics film festival 2010), the superhero action comedy henchin' (hd, 10min, vancouver int'l new media and film festival 2011) and more recently, the romantic comedy afternoon at gudrun (35mm, 7min, cannes film festival 2013 sfc) and the dark comedy faith and conviction
