the spizhenko clinic is a ukrainian oncology center located in the village of kapitanovka ( kyiv-svyatoshynsky district), kyiv region. it has been operating since 2009. the first cyberknife center was founded in september 2009 by academician yuri spizhenko, and subsequently, the medical center was named spizhenko cyber clinic. in december 2010, after yuri spizhenko's death, the center was headed by his daughter, natalia spizhenko. in may 2018, the center was renamed the spizhenko clinic. the clinic uses a cyberknife to treat cancer and other tumors. treatment methods the cyberknife (cyberknife g4) is an advanced radiosurgical system for the most effective and comfortable treatment of cancerous tumors. it allows a non-surgical treatment of tumors in places inaccessible for traditional surgery. it is used for radiosurgical treatment of benign and malignant tumors of any localization, in particular, brain and spinal cord tumors, tumors of vision organs, extracranial tumors, and lesion
