inspired by the amazing photo-book by jan kempenaers, in which he portrayed the ruined monumental memorials from the time of tito's government in yugoslavia, we want to capture the disappearing relics of human civilisation. in our first mission, we are going to visit these balkan monuments to extend and supplement what kempenaers’ book lacks. we are going to shoot the memorials, but also process information on the construction of these sculptures, to look for the stories of their creators, to do interviews with witnesses and their family members. we are going to publish everything under a creative commons license on our site, that these materials could be used by anyone for their projects. we plan to photograph monuments mainly in the topographical style, accompanied by documentation of monuments in the context of the surrounding landscape. we will shoot the monuments on medium format film on sinar camera, which brings indisputable advantages for architectural photography. our aim is t
