Sponsor a Gambian Teacher

we are a charity set up to sponsor people from the brikama area in the gambia who want to train to be a teacher. the cost of the training is beyond the means of the people we sponsor. the charity is run by steve lewis, a retired primary school headteacher based in north wales, and a board of trustees. our visit to the mansa - colley bojang nursery school was a very moving experience and resulted in us wanting to support the children by helping to provide them with qualified teachers. we are currently sponsoring two trainee teachers, with plans to expand this soon.
