we want to be clear....our food is super fresh! spoonfed was founded on the simple belief that kids should eat good food. organic? definitely. nutritious? absolutely. but most important, fresh! and while babies and kids were the reason it all began, adults soon joined the movement. now spoonfed offers fresh, organic, food for everyone! it all started in 2003 in a little cottage in northern westchester that founder, amanda nesis, set up as a commercial kitchen. it was a made-to-order and delivery-only one woman show. soon life intervened and spoonfed took a back seat. babies were had and relocations occurred. in the summer of 2014, spoonfed was relaunched and sold at the huntington, long island, farmers market. it got rave reviews and amanda knew she wanted to offer spoonfed year round. as luck would have it, life intervened again and her name was jaime koumoulis. jaime and amanda partnered to create an even better brand, always with the intention of giving their customers what they wan
