spora is an online tool that helps communities of faith foster contagious generosity by taking a more transparent, intentional, and collaborative approach to giving. in a world where opaque online give buttons, offering baskets, and once-a-year church financial progress reports rule the day, our approach to generosity has begun to feel much more like a disconnected black box than the transparent, intentional, and collaborative experience it’s intended to be — and, as a result, our generosity is withering. in search of a better way, we turned everything we’d come to know about generosity inside out and created a new, transparent, community-driven, approach to generosity. simply put, spora is generosity, open-sourced.
