our pursuit is to give children in deprived environments the opportunity to engage in sport and play. sport and play are vital elements in the health, happiness and well-being of children and young people. article 31 of the convention on the rights of the child highlights the importance of member states to “recognize the right of the child to rest and leisure, to engage in play and recreational activities appropriate to the age of the child and to participate freely in cultural life and the arts." this is the foundation for the unicef program sport for development, which sport blue fully endorses and we feel that sport is not just an end in itself, but also an effective tool to help improve the lives of children, families and communities. sport blue is bringing the global sports community together by supplying high quality sport tapes and strapping which helps to fund the future of children across the globe through the unicef sports for development programme. we believe in ‘the virtues
