sporting club baçaim was found in 2019 to participate in local tournaments for the boys from the local community and the neighbourhood. however, in 2020, we have been encouraged by the constant support, encouragement, and desire to play, from the young girls in the locality to form a women’s team. in december 2020, we officially formed the women’s team and a year & half later, our women’s team is the official champions of mumbai football association’s women’s super league 2021-22. we, at sporting club baçaim, are committed to developing players in and around mumbai (practices are primarily held in suburbs of mumbai). the club was formed to give players access to a progressive playing philosophy and an advanced level of coaching. sc baçaim has only one team (open age category) as we are driven by quality, not quantity. our intention is to help players develop in a competitive but ultimately enjoyable learning environment. we don’t look for the biggest, strongest players who can kick t
